Dr. Savannah Mahoney, raised in the Ottawa Valley, earned her Bachelor of Science with honours from Acadia University before embarking on a series of adventures, including riding horses solo across Mongolia, teaching sciences in China, and backpacking through South America. After these travels, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, followed by certification in animal chiropractic through the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic. While in New Zealand, she worked in a family chiropractic practice and founded Auckland Animal Chiropractic.
After 10 years away, Dr. Mahoney is thrilled to be back in the Valley and to be building a practice where animals and their humans can feel and function at their best. Outside of chiropractic, she trains Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is raising her German Shepherd, who she’s training for volunteer search and rescue work.
